This past week I headed to Chippewa Falls to do hair and makeup for the new Leinenkugel’s Lemon Berry Shandy Commercial! I had the privilege of working with the crew of Bow+Arrow Productions and of course the Leinenkugel brothers! It was a blast! The commercial should be airing later this fall!

Bright and early this morning Donald was up and talking about his venture at tackling the world’s top water park in Texas on Good Morning America. I had the pleasure of being on set this morning styling Donald for his interview about his experience with GMA! If you missed it, it is a must watch!!! Shows another side of Donald….Super Bowl Champ, Dancing with the Stars Champ and now a thrill seeker????

Disney “Make Your Mark”

A couple weeks ago, I had the privilege to do hair and makeup for some unbelievably talented kids. Disney does special segments on young kids with extraordinary talents called “Make Your Mark!”

The first star we worked with was Noah. At just 9 years old he began a website to help raise some money to save his grandmother’s home from foreclosure. After he successfully saved her home, he carried his donations over into local establishments to help those in need within the community. It was a pleasure and honor to meet Noah! Keep up the inspiring work!

The second star we worked with was Terryk. An amazingly talented boy who started making violins before he was 10 years old. He has successfully made 5 violons and has traveled to Italy and studied the art of making them in great detail. He not only makes the violin but plays them with ease. He is an extremely talented artist. Congrats to Terryk and good luck with violin #6!!

Love the really dark denim with a white or red blouse top. The “Nautical” colors and look is really in right now too!!

Tip: Pair your skinnies with a long, loose top. It gives a nice balance to the tight pants, and keeps you covered in the right places. More tips for Skinny wearers…

Hello to my followers and whomever else!! I am so sorry I have not been in touch in almost a year!!! A bit ridiculous. I promise to update more than once a year from now on. Azure Casual Clothes Fitting….

Hey everyone! I have an exciting new post! I went to Azure, a fabulous trendy boutique in De Pere today to do a fit session! It was amazing. I have pictures below to show the hottest trends right now and how to put a couple of outfits together. Today’s blog will be focused on the more casual trends that Shanna, owner of Azure, and I put together. Under the photos are descriptions of what I am wearing!

This first look is probably one of my favorites! I love love love the J Brand Love Stories!!!! They are the hottest jean out there. They are the 70′s flare with a mid rise. This outfit is great because it is casual yet dressy at the same time. The plain Jet White Top somewhat dresses down the dark jean, but the Dara Necklace throws a splash of that natural colored stone in there, which is also very in! The Jet shirt by John Eshaya also has the 70′s feel to it because of the boat neck and flowing sleeves. It is still very figure flattering though due to the seams running tighter on the sides with extra fabric sewn onto the seam to give it that flowing look. This shirt also has exposed buttons running down the back of the shirt.

Alright so maybe this is my favorite…Well for shorts I love them all and just can’t decide. Anyways, love these J Brand Harbor Shorts. The inseam is NOT TWO INCHES!!!!! They are really shorts! Super soft and comfortable. I am not much of a shorts person but these maybe changed my mind! The shirt, love it. It’s got great tailoring on the sides that really make the shirt flattering to any shape. It’s great for summer to because it’s light weight yet somewhat sheer so it’s not too hot or cold. The Tolani Scarf! Well, look at it. Love the colors. It’s a great material as well. It’s not heavy so it’s a perfect Spring and Summer accessory! And of course the Dolce Vita Shoes speak for themselves.

The third look is great as well! The J Brand Cargo Army Capri’s are fantastic. They are very comfortable and give a more earthy feel than jeans. The Jet Top is amazing!! It is soooo soft and comfortable!! The cream color and fabric really give it a nice dressy look and feel!

Commercial and Web Video…KLH Responsibly

Hey everyone! So I had the privilege of styling for WKLH Rock station out of Milwaukee. They shot all new commercials and web videos on how to “KLH Responsibly” starring Sheriff Harold Brierski, aka Paul Evansen, whom I had the pleasure of applying a fake mustache to.

It was a blast! Launch Photography, Film and Video shot the commercials and videos and I styled the models and actors for the shoot. Let me know what you think!

Hot Shoe Trend!

So this season’s hottest new shoe color is nude and style is wedged. Absolutely love this trend. Nude goes with absolutely everything!! Little black dress to jeans. Dress up or down. The pair of shoes that I purchased below are my favorites!! Dolce Vita Jade Wedge shoes are very comfortable, made of real leather, and are super hot. They are high, but the 1″ platform makes it feel much lower. I bought mine from Piperlime. I have the link below the 1st pic.

These are prices a tad higher but are well worth the money. The real leather really makes a different when it comes to comfort.

If you are looking for this style at a much lower cost, Target is actually carrying a few different colors in this style. The leather is faux but they still look great. You can also find the brown and black on the same page.

Spring Greetings From Azure!

Now that Spring has officially arrived it can only mean one thing… Azure has been open for their first year! It seems like just yesterday that we were picking out paint colors, arranging furniture and organizing inventory. Here we are with our first year under our belts at Azure and we wanted to say “THANK YOU”. We truly appreciate your support in everything that we do – we could not have done it without you!

What started out as an idea to bring fashion forward clothing to the women of Northeast Wisconsin has become a wonderful reality! As we move forward we will continue to bring you new designers, new ideas and new fashions.
